Flourless Plantain Pizza Crust

Plantain + left over finely ground corn = Plantain Pizza crust!

This crust is so easy to make and is uber delic!

Ingredients

  1. 2 large ripe plantians (peeled and sliced)
  2. 2/3 cup finely ground corn
  3. 1 medium onion
  4. 2 thai pepper (optional)
  5. 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  6. 1 tsp baking powder

Method

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour blended mixture into a baking sheet and spread.
  3. Bake in a 30 degree oven for about 20 minutes, or until batter is no longer wet.
  4. Bring out of oven and cool completely.

Use as pizza crust or as dough for a savory rollup.

Cream cheese & baked salmon rollup.

Stew + cooked ground beef rollup.
