Scotch Eggs
- ½ lb of turkey sausage meat
- 4 hard boiled eggs (shelled)
- ¼ cup flour
- ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tsp freshly chopped cilantro
- 1 raw egg white
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic
- Oil for frying
- Heat the oil for frying.
- Mix all the herbs and spices together and add to the sausage meat.
- Mix it all in until well combined.
- Dust all four eggs with some flour
- Divide the sausage meat into 4 portions.
- Using your palms, form a patty with a portion of the sausage meat.
- Place a floured egg in the middle of the sausage meat patty.
- Use the patty to completely cover the egg.
- Cover all other eggs in the same way.
- Lightly dust the covered eggs in flour.
- Then roll the eggs in the egg white.
- Then immediately roll the eggs in panko bread crumbs until completely covered.
- Fry breaded eggs for about 3 mins on it side until both sides are golden brown.
- Serve Hot.
